High intensity light development for aerial vehicle.

Xenonics : 13 December, 2007  (Application Story)
US Government unmanned aerial vehicle contract benefits from high intensity light development from Xenonics.
Xenonics Holdings has received an R&D contract from Advanced Ceramics Research to develop a high-intensity illumination system for the new unmanned aerial vehicle which ACR is under contract to develop for the US Government.

'We have already applied the patented multispectral technology in our NightHunter family of ultra-high-intensity illumination products to land vehicles and sea borne craft. This R&D contract gives us the opportunity to integrate our technology for another new growth application,' said Chuck Hunter, CEO of Xenonics. He said that initial development of the integrated system is expected to be completed by summer 2008.
