GRC software featured at public risk management conference

MEGA International : 24 April, 2009  (New Product)
The Alarm conference in Bournemouth will be used by Mega to demonstrate its upgraded Governance, Risk and Compliance management software
Mega will be demonstrating the latest version of its highly rated software for GRC applications in the exhibition section of the annual conference of Alarm, the public Risk Management association. Taking place on June 21-23, 2009, the combined conference and exhibition will be held at the Bournemouth International Centre, Bournemouth. To be located on stand 17, MEGA is a Silver Sponsor of the event.

Named in a recent report as the best solution by Yphise, a respected market research company, MEGA GRC Suite comprises three fully integrated application modules - GRC Risk, GRC Compliance and Control, and GRC Audit. Reflecting the theme of the Alarm conference, the latest version features advanced functions to manage both global and local risks. In particular, it offers new ways to improve audit quality and enhance business decision capability; compliance and control additions to meet new reporting requirements; and a host of new tools and enhancements to comprehensively manage risk.

"At Alarm Mega will demonstrate to public sector delegates the importance of a process based approach to risk management, which leads to major benefits, primarily the creation of a consolidated view of risk, processes and controls that allows for increased transparency and the coordination of risk interdependencies," said Ludovic Relandeau, Vice President, UK Operations, Mega.

A process based approach leads to more efficiency in global and local business performance, he explained. Cost savings may be gained across all relevant operations within a public service, and it provides a more certain route to achieving compliance goals.

Mega works with many public sector organisations. The company's stand at Alarm will be manned by experienced professionals from its respected consultancy practice and sales office, well qualified to discuss business process improvement and other key issues faced by delegates in their respective organisations.

*Mega GRC Suite was named as the best solution for integrated Risk Management and control by Yphise in its January 2009 'Integrated Risk Management and Control' report that contains a detailed analysis, comparison, and assessment of Risk Management and control software products.
