Sensometrix has announced a major milestone achievement in biometric vein identification.
Fujitsu has signed a global agreement with the Swiss security company Sensometrix. Within the agreement, Fujitsu is enabled to sell the SensoBrain technology, a biometric booster for large scale applications such as cashless payment, physical and logical access control. The combination of the PalmSecure and the SensoBrain technology position both companies as the worldwide leader in large scale vein applications requiring convenience speed and security. To celebrate this success, Sensometrix SA and Fujitsu Ltd, are giving to any interested company the opportunity to try and buy this new biometric accelerator. « Being able to process million of users in a few seconds is a major step in biometric vein performances. No one on the market is currently able to provide such results while keeping high level of security and quick identification» said Mr Toshimitsu Kurosawa, Global Marketing & Sales Director of Fujitsu Ltd. “It is the result of several years of R&D, representing a complete break with traditional applications. The present step is an acknowledgement for our company. We are moving forward to develop new algorithms aimed at improving the stability and the performance of biometric data processing" said Mr Nicolas Rebetez, CEO & Co-Founder of Sensometrix SA.
Fujitsu Ltd has been involved in Biometric solutions for more than ten years. Fujitsu is known for having successfully manufactured the PalmSecure a revolutionary contactless palm vein reader
Created and developed by the Sensometrix team, SensoBrain is the world’s most powerful biometric identification accelerator combined with vein recognition. It accelerates the identification process so that an individual can be identified in just a few hundredths of a second while still guaranteeing one of the highest security levels on the market.
The worldwide known Richemont Luxury Groups has chosen to work with Sensometrix technology and Fujitsu’s Palm Vein reader in order to rely on more security while bringing convenience to their collaborators.
