Free Biometrics workshops for TranSec World Expo attendees

Transport Security exhibition and conference in Amsterdam later this month features a number of conferences and workshops including free session on Biometric technology and access control
TranSec World Expo invites registrations for attendance to over 30 free-to-attend workshops running on the 25 - 26 June 2008 at the PTA - Amsterdam.

Covering the areas of Biometrics & Access Control, Passenger Screening, Baggage & Cargo Screening and CCTV & Intrusion Detection, the workshops offer the perfect opportunity to learn about the technology advancements and take part technical discussions.


The Biometrics & Access Control workshop will run on the 26 June. This workshop remains a vital debating forum. While Biometrics solutions continue to be rolled out in terminals globally, questions still remain over whether these solutions are sufficiently robust for large scale deployment. The Biometrics & Access Control Workshop addresses these questions, examines large scale deployment through case studies and looks towards the future of mass transit.

The workshop will also explore a variety of key points from across the transport industry including case studies on: How iris recongnition facilities a 21st century approach to transportation, How fingerprint recognition can help speed but passenger flow, The role of biometrics in airport automation, in addition the workshop will explore successful use of Biometric solutions through case studies such as CATSA and Manchester Airport.
