Fraud Prevention Tool Recognition From Gaming Industry

Iovation : 26 May, 2010  (Company News)
eGaming Review places iovation device reputation service in the finals for the 2010 fraud and compliance solution of the year
iovation, provider of the world's first device reputation service for preventing online fraud and abuse, has been named a finalist by eGaming Review (EGR) magazine for the 2010 fraud and compliance solution of the year. Now in its sixth year, the EGR Awards will be revealed during the EGR Live conference at the premier awards ceremony on June 14, 2010 at London's Old Billingsgate.

Serving this industry since 2004, iovation keeps the world's leading online gaming sites open for business while keeping fraudsters out. Independent of personally identifiable information and financial data, iovation expands the scope of protection for online gaming sites and players from fraud and abuse.

More than 50 major gaming providers, such as Entraction and WagerWorks, use iovation ReputationManager to minimize financial fraud, player collusion, bonus abuse, arbitrage, chip dumping and other abuses. WagerWorks, a premier provider of game content for online, mobile and interactive digital television, stopped 20 fraud rings comprised of 300 accounts on the very first day of implementing iovation.

"With iovation we can see associations between problematic accounts and devices. Before it was a hunch, now it is a process," said Crystian Terry, director of casino operations at WagerWorks.

The power of iovation is in the shared community of customers who collectively fight fraud together. Thousands of fraud analysts access and interact with the world's largest fraud database of device intelligence of over 300 million devices, gathered from reviewing billions online transactions. Our customers benefit from all of the fraud teams, tools, and knowledge across our entire customer base.
