PhishMe, experts in immersive security behaviour management, has announced a partnership with FireEye. By pairing the FireEye platform with employee training through immersion in PhishMe’s simulated phishing scenarios, customers will be able to promptly assess intrusions and remediate threats in an efficient manner before a detrimental risk is posed. PhishMe and FireEye hope to create a new organization-wide mindset that cyber security impacts each employee, from the lowest level all the way to the C-level. Both companies are committed to creating an open environment where employees are educated and aware of potential security threats, as well as the need for a robust security infrastructure. Together, both can provide the keys to a successful, multi-layered cyber security program.
PhishMe’s customer base, including a number of the Fortune 500 and leaders in the financial, energy, insurance, healthcare and government sectors, has successfully reduced the rate of employees falling victim to spear-phishing threats, in many cases, by up to 80 percent.
“Now, more than ever before, we’re seeing threats come in through the front door: spear-phishing attacks on employees who hold the keys to the kingdom,” said Didi Dayton, vice president worldwide alliances, FireEye. “Cybercriminals continue to mix advanced intrusion tactics with spear-phishing emails which can cause an equal amount of damage to an organization’s infrastructure. PhishMe’s unique employee training modules couple well with our advanced threat protection platform, helping organizations minimize the amount of vulnerabilities on the endpoint and the network.”
FireEye has over 1,000 customers across more than 40 countries, including over one-third of the Fortune 100. The FireEye next-generation threat protection platform works to protect against unknown threats that are targeted and stealthy and delivered over multiple threat vectors, such as spear phishing.
