In the age of digital data acquisition, processing and transmission become increasingly easier. This also leads to a growing demand for effective protection of confidential or security-relevant information. Extremely delicate conductor paths printed on a film prevent the removal of storage chips from a piece of equipment.

To prevent attacks on critical data, the specialists from Schreiner ProSecure and Schreiner VarioLight print extremely delicate conductor paths on a film. This security film can be applied around microchips and storage media like a protective wrap. An attempt to tamper with equipment that has been protected this way will trigger a protective mechanism: In case of short circuits or power interruptions, all security relevant information is immediately erased. The system even responds to microscopically small changes like drill holes with a diameter of just 0.2 millimeters (0.007 inches). The conductor paths are available on sheets or rolls, depending on the customer's wish. Their design can be flexibly adapted to technical specifications such as resistance and bonding. All materials meet the stringent requirements of the automotive industry as well as the independent test institutes, Underwriter Laboratories (UL) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA).
