Deposition Sciences : 16 September, 2008  (Company News)
Sales Engineer with background in optical engineering recruited by Deposition Sciences to cover the Midwestern US area
Deposition Sciences announces the appointment of Jessica Black to the position of sales engineer for the Midwestern US territory. A versatile and experienced engineer in the optics industry, Ms Black has held key positions as a process engineer, project manager, systems test engineer, and most recently as an account manager and sales engineer for an internationally-recognised optics fabrication and coating company in Boulder, CO. She graduated in 1996 from the University of Washington (Seattle, WA) College of Material Science and Engineering with a BSc degree in Ceramic Engineering.

"We are delighted to have Jessica join our talented sales team," notes DSI President Lee Bartolomei. He adds, "Black's well-rounded experience in optical coatings, her account management expertise, and her enthusiastic approach will help us expand our customer base in the Midwest. With her leadership, we will continue to provide reliable sales and service to our current and new DSI customers in this important industry-growth region."

DSI produces the most highly durable optical thin film coatings available via their proprietary MicroDyn sputtering technology. These high performance, uniform optical coatings are extremely stable over temperature and humidity changes, meeting the severe abrasion, adhesion, humidity, and salt fog tests of Mil-C-675 standards.
