DGA Security Systems has announced the immediate availability of DGA Security System Alerts, which bring important business information directly to its customers' email inboxes. The alerts, which include instant alarm notifications and weekly reports, are formatted to be easily readable on any smartphone, including iPhone, Blackberry, and Android.
Examples of alerts include immediate notifications and weekly summaries of when an alarm is armed or disarmed, or when sensitive security zones are accessed and by which employee. In addition to using this data to raise awareness about security events, the alerts can give much-needed insight into business operations. For instance, comparing store sales to open/close times at each location might reveal a weak store manager or show that low-performing stores have a tendency to open late and close early.
"To our customers, DGA is not just a security company. We're their business partner," said Stanley Oppenheim, DGA's founder and president. "We're committed to helping them use their security systems to better understand their operations and become more profitable."
System Alerts can also help companies protect many aspects of their business beyond security. For instance, DGA can automatically notify a customer when the temperature or humidity in its server room approaches a critical level to allow them to take action before equipment starts to overheat.
