Axis Security has been named Security Guarding Company of the Year at this year’s Security Excellence Awards (SEA) – the second time it has achieved the accolade in three years.
Axis Security also won the award for ACS Champion of the Year for its commitment to raising standards and creating a safer environment.
The company, whose spectacular success has seen its turnover rise from £2 million to £47 million in five years has a strong track record in these prestigious industry awards, and was also shortlisted for Contract Security Manager of the Year.
The business was recognised for its continued growth in sales, and for its successful rebrand earlier this year, as part of the Axis Group, to provide a more joined up and customer focused approach to the services it delivers. It has also expanded delivery into five star reception services, as well as breaking into new client sectors including banking.
Jonathan Levine, Axis Group CEO, is delighted to see the company win the main prize against 10 other providers: “The success of Axis Security comes down to the dedication of the management team and the ongoing hard work of the security officers who deliver the best service on a daily basis,” he says.
“Our position as the number one security company is evidenced by the consistency with which we deliver outstanding levels of service to each and every customer through teamwork, transparency and innovation, as well as our long-term commitment to employee training and effective integration of technology.
“Winning ACS Champion of the Year is also extremely encouraging,” he continues. “We constantly strive for excellence and endeavour to improve our services at every opportunity so this prestigious award confirms that we are making the right progress.”
