MarkMonitor has announced that Andrew Horton, director of product management at MarkMonitor, will participate and serve as a chairman at the 4th annual Anti-Counterfeiting and Brand Protection Summit. Responding to the demand for new and improved ways to battle counterfeiters, the Summit gathers top experts in the anti-counterfeiting realm to address the latest counterfeiting trends, legislation and cases, along with how to create, budget and manage a successful anti-counterfeiting program. Participants will learn what other countries are doing to combat counterfeiting, gain valuable insights into anti-counterfeiting technology and share the latest cutting-edge strategies for conquering counterfeiters on the Internet.

Online counterfeiting continues to grow, resulting in public health and safety concerns as well as economic damage. In the last few years, technology advancements have provided more tools for brand owners to use to police their brands online while anti-cybersquatting legislation and other means are proving to be powerful tools for rights enforcement. Horton will join a panel of industry leaders to discuss successful strategies to fight the counterfeit problem both in the physical and virtual worlds. This presentation will demonstrate how to identify online threats and prioritize enforcement actions as well as discuss cost-effective strategies drawn from a variety of real world case studies to combat the growing risks of online counterfeiting.

Andrew Horton, director of product management at MarkMonitor will attend IQPC's 4th Annual Anti-Counterfeiting and Brand Protection conference, "The Latest Cutting-Edge Strategies on How to Protect Your Company and Conquer the Counterfeiters on the Internet" on Wednesday, January 27th, at 11:30 am ET at Millennium Broadway Hotel, 145 West 44th Street, New York, NY 10036.
