Digital Forensics Training Courses Available In Europe
SANS is launching its first dedicated Digital Forensics training event in Prague in October offering a full emersion experience over a 7 day event combining leading experts’ presentations and four in-depth IT forensics courses.

The new format will kick-off 7 October with the annual European Digital Forensics and Incident Response Summit which will include respected experts from the IT security community sharing their knowledge and expertise to help senior practitioners fight cybercrime more effectively.

The remaining 6 days will offer hands-on immersion courses covering Computer Forensic Analysis, Incident Response, Mobile Device Forensics and Malware Analysis Tools and Techniques. SANS Forensics Prague will also provide bonus sessions each evening featuring  additional forensics related presentations and discussion groups after classes finish.

The event will debut the brand new FOR563: Mobile Device Forensics class, which will be taught by Jess Garcia. Rob Lee, Curriculum Lead for all of SANS’ Forensic courses, will be teaching FOR508: Advanced Computer Forensics and Incident Response, a course also making its European debut with all new content, exercises and challenges. The impressive lineup of instructors is completed with two more course authors and highly respected digital forensics practitioners, Chad Tilbury teaching FOR408: Computer Forensic Investigation – Windows In-Depth, and Lenny Zeltser teaching FOR610: Reverse Engineering Malware.

“This event is offered in response to  feedback from the SANS community which indicated a need for a more in-depth event specifically designed for the forensics community,” explains Gareth Dance, GSEC Conference Director for EMEA at the SANS Institute, “The event is aimed at forensics practitioners across public, private and military sectors. The quality of the invited experts and the real-world experience of the selected faculty  will make this a completely unique experience, and an unparalleled training and networking experience. Nowhere else will you find a full 7-day digital forensic training experiene with the calibre of Instructors associated with SANS. We are really excited to bring the event to Europe.
