American Science And Engineering receive two large orders for service and maintenance as well as new cargo and parcel X-Ray systems

American Science and Engineering has received a $31.8 million service and maintenance renewal order from a client to support its fleet of AS&E detection systems.

“We are proud to support our valued client’s strategic mission with outstanding service in the field,” said Anthony Fabiano, President and CEO. “This significant service order will ensure that the AS&E systems will operate at peak performance.  Our service teams consistently exceed contractual commitments with exceptional operational readiness, which is essential to give our customers a significant advantage in executing their critical security initiatives.”

The company has also received a $5.7 million order for cargo and parcel X-ray inspection systems from an undisclosed client. The order includes operator training, service, and warranty.

“With this new order, our client will heighten its checkpoint security with AS&E’s unique cargo and parcel X-ray systems to screen vehicles, trucks, and parcels entering its facilities,” said Anthony Fabiano, President and CEO of AS&E. “AS&E’s X-ray inspection systems utilize advanced technologies to detect a broad range of threats and contraband, including drugs, weapons, and plastic explosives.”
