New Competition to Find the UK's Best Cyber Security Talents

The newly established Cyber Security Challenge UK is a programme of national challenges to identify and nurture the UK's future cyber security workforce. It will test the nation's cyber security skills, excite entrants about the variety of job prospects available to them and create a much needed, recognised pathway to a professional career in information security and assurance.

This new Challenge will launch to information assurance professionals at Earls Court on the 27th April. It is sponsored by a range of leading information security organisations including the Sans Institute, the Digital Systems KTN, the Institute of Information Security Professionals and Dtex Systems. The GSC will support it operationally: 'We are excited about helping to launch this exciting new initiative that aims to find the brightest students in the UK in order to inspire and attract them into cyber security careers.'

The New Security Technologies of Tomorrow Challenge at CNi Expo is open only to previous GSC Finalists.

GSC together with CNi Expo is hosting a new competition, called "Security Technologies of Tomorrow Challenge", which brings together the finalists from previous GSC challenges to compete against each other in a race to be crowned the Best Security Technology of Tomorrow. Entrants can win $10,000 Dollar in cash and the 10 selected finalists will get a free booth (worth ca. $1,500), ticket and great exposure at the CNi Expo in London on June 2-3. The final judging round will happen at the CNi Expo in front of judges and hundreds of industry leaders.

The independent Judging Committee looks for the most disruptive security technology of tomorrow, which makes your technology idea the core of the judging process. This competition is independent from our other GSC challenges, it has different judges and will not impact you negatively should you consider to apply for future GSC competitions. Former GSC Finalists can enter this competition by applying online via our GSC Forum for free!
