Defence order for jamming systems.

OSI Systems : 25 September, 2007  (Application Story)
Vehicle mounted electronic counter measure system for US defence department to use sub-assemblies from OSI Systems.
OSI Systems has announced that its Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division has received a follow-on order for approximately $22.1 million from EDO Corporation. The contract follows a previously received order from EDO in April 2007 for $5 million.

Under the terms of the contract OSI's Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division will deliver electronic sub-assemblies to be used by EDO in its "CREW 2.1" vehicle-mounted electronic jammer systems currently under contract for ultimate delivery to the US Department of Defence.

Mr Manoocher Mansouri, President of the Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division, stated, "We are pleased to continue our relationship with EDO with this follow-on award. The contract underscores our OEM manufacturing capabilities and commitment to delivering quality products for projects that are critical to our country's security efforts."
