Corestreet presents on smart cards for maritime security.

The state of the art for maritime security is the theme of a workshop on the deployment of smart card techniques presented by Corestreet CEO.
CoreStreet CEO Chris Broderick will Present at the Maritime Security Expo in New York City. Chris is an industry expert in the area of advanced credential systems, having worked closely with governments and corporations around the world to further the acceptance of smart credentials. In his role, Broderick frequently speaks regarding the importance of architecting credentialing solutions that benefit both government and citizen. In addition to market and industry knowledge, Broderick also has a strong technology background from his tenure with technology leaders CA, Paragren Technologies, Wang Laboratories and Eastman Kodak.

The workshop is entitled "State-of-the-Art Technologies for Maritime Security" and Broderick will share his first-hand experience in implementing smart cards for a variety of security applications, including mobile credential checking.

The presentation will highlight CoreStreet's experiences with the implementation of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) and the Federal Information Processing Standard 201 (FIPS-201) for Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards as specifically applied to the Maritime community.

The workshop will take place at the sixth annual Maritime Security Expo 2007 in the Jacob Javits Convention Centre, New York on Wednesday, November 28, 2007.
