Cloud Computing Trends Discussion at EIC 2010

Lieberman Software : 04 May, 2010  (Company News)
CEO of Lieberman Software is attending the European Identity Conference to speak on emerging trends in identity management with particular focus on cloud computing
Lieberman Software has announced that President and CEO Philip Lieberman will be a featured speaker at the European Identity Conference 2010, being held May 4-7 in Munich.

The European Identity Conference will host the world's top enterprise technologists, thought leaders and experts to explore emerging industry trends in identity management, governance, Risk Management and compliance (GRC) and cloud computing.

Lieberman joins a world-class list of speakers who will deliver a unique mix of best practices presentations, panel discussions and analyst views. He will participate in two panel sessions at the conference, 'Managing Privileged Identities in the Cloud' on May 6 and 'Privileged Identities - Identify, Delegate, Enforce, Audit' on May 7.

'Cloud computing has presented complicated security issues for IT organizations," Lieberman said. "How do you get accountability for management of physical assets that are no longer under your physical control, and exactly what control mechanisms are in place? Can you trust your cloud vendor to secure your most sensitive data? Fortunately the industry is starting to move beyond paralyzing discussions about the security and compliance problems that arise from Cloud Computing to address them head on. I look forward to discussing these issues at the European Identity Conference.'

Lieberman Software will be participating as a sponsor/exhibitor in booth G4 and will showcase Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM), which provides new levels of visibility and control for cloud service providers and their customers. ERPM delivers fine-grain management features to protect every asset in the cloud infrastructure - including physical and virtual computers and network appliances, hypervisors, databases, middleware, line-of-business applications, and more. With ERPM, cloud service providers can assure both customers and IT auditors that privileged access to sensitive data is continuously monitored and secured.
