Charity Donation included in purchase of Network Management Software

Ipswitch : 15 January, 2010  (New Product)
WhatsUp Gold is making donations to the CARE charity on every sale it makes of the company's network management software package
Ipswitch's Network Management division WhatsUp Gold, a developer of affordable and easy to use network management software, will donate $25,000 to CARE, one of the world's largest non-profit private international humanitarian organisations fighting against global poverty. For every new purchase of a WhatsUp Gold product made between January 1st and January 30, 2010, Ipswitch is making a $100 donation to CARE on behalf of the customer.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for companies looking to improve the efficiency of their network for the new business year ahead," said Ennio Carboni, President of the Network Management division at Ipswitch. "However, as always, at the heart of our commitment is the emphasis on giving back to the global community. Through this partnership with CARE we hope to raise $25,000 for an extremely worthy cause."

WhatsUp Gold gives customers powerful insight into their networks with scalable, extensible functionality unmatched in the market. Since the company's founding 19 years ago, Ipswitch has contributed in excess of one million dollars to a wide variety of charitable organizations.

"Community involvement has always been an integral part of Ipswitch's core culture," said Roger Greene, CEO, Ipswitch. "As a company, we have consistently emphasized the importance of giving back to the community whenever possible, an endeavour made even more important in such difficult economic times."
