ASSA Abloy Access Control has launched an innovative Aperio escutcheon range featuring PIN code technology, to offer multi-level door security.
Aperio is designed to upgrade mechanically locked doors and wirelessly connect them online or offline to new or existing access control systems, with minimal modification to doors and premises, offering a cost effective and simple security upgrade.
The new Aperio PINpad escutcheon presents an extra level of access control, offering users the opportunity to enter a PIN of four to eight characters, or utilise a high security card reader, or a combination of both.
Says Damian Marsh, EMEA Sales Director for Electronic Access Control and Managing Director of ASSA Abloy Access Control UK: “Aperio is Europe’s fastest growing wireless locking solution and by adding the PINpad escutcheon to our product portfolio, we are offering even greater flexibility, with a device that can be used where there is a requirement to secure doors with multi level authentication.
