Datacard Group will be showcasing the Datacard MX6000 and MX1000 card issuance systems at the China 2011 International Smart Cards and RFID Exhibition.
Datacard Group offers the broadest range of inline card personalization technologies across its flagship MX Series systems. Demonstrations will include the new laser engraving capabilities on the MX6000 and MX1000 system capable of engraving CLI and MLI cards within the same compact module. The module increases productivity and allows card issuers to engrave images, grayscale photos, bar codes, text and other variable data, creating highly secure IDs and financial cards that resist forgery and alteration.
“In today’s competitive card markets, affordable and secure card issuance solutions are essential”, said Angus McDougall, regional vice president, Asia Pacific for Datacard Group. “Datacard card issuance systems outsell all other brands worldwide because we deliver exceptional speed, security and reliability.”
The MX1000 system is available in several fixed configurations, each designed to meet specific needs of mid-volume card issuers. Built on the proven design of other Datacard® MX Series systems, the MX1000 system is now available in a configuration that combines smart card personalization with the reliable laser engraving technology currently available in the MX6000 card issuance system.
“No matter what the card application, the MX1000 system allows our customers to take an affordable first step into centralized card issuance,” added McDougall. “It is a perfect fit for governments and financial institutions looking to issue secure ID cards and financial cards on a regional or local level. It is also great for local municipalities and small banks whose card issuance needs have outgrown desktop systems.”
Datacard Group will be exhibiting on stand number S074-S075, Beijing Exhibition Centre, 2 – 4 June, 2011.
