Business Development Director to bring CryptoCard 2FA to EMEA

CryptoCard : 26 November, 2009  (Company News)
CryptoCard has recruited a Business Development Director for concentrating on developing the EMEA market for two factor authentication products
CryptoCard has announced the appointment of Lee Ealey-Newman as business development director as the company looks to expand its presence in the important EMEA market.

As part of this new role, Ealey-Newman will spearhead the development of a strong partner programme with systems integrators (SIs) across EMEA and beyond. In addition, he will take on expanding sales management responsibility for CryptoCard's Crypto-Mas managed service business in key regions including Germany and UAE.

Ealey-Newman, brings with him extensive security and managed service experience. He joins CryptoCard from BT, where his most recent role was to design, construct and take to market a multi-million pound hosted email security solution. Previously he spent nearly six years with EMC subsidiary, RSA where he set up and grew its SI business in EMEA.

"Cloud-based services are proving increasingly successful in delivering the benefits of advanced technology to businesses of all sizes," says Ealey-Newman. "In particular, with its Crypto-Mas Password-as-a-Service solution CryptoCard has shown dynamic innovation and leadership, as the first company to bring strong authentication within reach of SMEs."

For CryptoCard CEO, Neil Hollister, the new appointment comes at an important time for the company. "As our recently-announced aggressive swap-out campaign shows, we are providing partners with powerful new weapons to encourage users to switch to our cloud-based alternative," he says.

"Lee has the ideal level of channel and industry expertise to support our drive to take full advantage of this exciting managed service opportunity."
