Breakfast Seminars Cover Legal Issues of Corporate E-Mail

Network Defence : 17 January, 2011  (New Product)
UK roadshow of breakfast seminars organised by Network Defence assists attendees in understanding the legal and security minefield of corporate e-mail handling
Network Defence is hosting a series of business seminars to help companies find out more about the legal challenges, obligations and security issues around corporate email.

Visiting Birmingham, Leeds and Bolton, the free breakfast seminars will cover the regulatory and legal requirements of email management, litigation and eDiscovery issues, as well as offering best practice tips for email and document retention policies.

Network Defence will look at how companies can overcome these issues by implementing technology solutions which support best practice, regulatory compliance and improve business efficiency.

Representatives from Barracuda Networks including Dave Gill, UK Channels Manager and George Edmundson, Sales Engineer, will also join Network Defence to discuss email archiving and cloud based data backup solutions.

Dave Beesley, Managing Director of Network Defence, said: “Legal developments and recent data breaches have forced businesses to take data management seriously, with the consequences of improper use being costly and time-consuming. This highlights the importance of solutions being in place to ensure businesses can reliably store emails and retrieve them swiftly, whilst improving efficiency and adhering to necessary legal guidelines.

“Businesses need to be aware of the evolving security issues and understand how to avoid the penalties of improper email and data management. Our seminars can provide them with a way of achieving this, enabling companies to implement best practice procedures that will also help to boost efficiency in their business.”

The free breakfast seminars will run over three consecutive days, arriving in Birmingham on 25th January and finishing in Bolton on 27th January. Registration and a complimentary breakfast will start from 8.30am, with the seminar finishing at approximately 12pm.
