Automated Guard Available from FutureSentry

Communicated Enforcement : 22 March, 2010  (New Product)
Communicated Enforcement is offering a patented robotic guard for pro-active security service provision through integration of monitoring, surveillance and alarm systems
The FutureSentry robotic guard interface system - the security industry's first technology proven to prevent crime - is now available to system integrators and security products dealers after three years of beta testing. The patented device, which integrates into any security network, identifies and gets involved immediately with potential criminals rather than just triggering alarms or taking pictures.

FutureSentry works because it convinces people they will be caught before they near a target. One or more FutureSentry units can protect any facility more effectively than human guards, monitoring devices or alarm systems. When integrated with traditional surveillance and alert methods, FutureSentry further reduces financial loss and security cost.

Communicated Enforcement, headquartered in Miami, is manufacturing the robotic guard in Shenandoah. The company's founder and chief technology officer, Stephen Whitten, invented FutureSentry in 2007 after pioneering interactive security technology in the 1980s. Whitten's early, complex system - which reduced crime by 80% at more than 2,000 convenience stores - has evolved into a simple, intelligent device. The robot is compatible with existing technology including CCTV cameras, remote monitoring, alarms, etc.

Each FutureSentry system includes the robotic guard interface and multiple remote sensors. It can be purchased with or without a CCTV camera. Once it is posted to cover a designated area, it will respond to the strategically placed sensors, programmed instructions, and manual commands. It works without interruption in extreme weather conditions.

From 2007 - 2009, FutureSentry beta models repelled crime at more than 200 installations including schools, multi-family and estate residences, federal prisons, automobile dealerships, and transportation facilities.
