MAXXESS and its UK distributor Ubiqz enjoyed great success at this year’s IFSEC, thanks in part to ASSA ABLOY’s latest innovative locking technology, the award-winning Aperio.
As well as MAXXESS’s eFusion integrated security management software, visitors to the Ubiqz stand H20 in Hall 4 were also able to view Aperio locking technology, which was named Integrated Security Product of the Year at this year’s IFSEC Security Industry Awards.
The latest innovative locking solution from ASSA ABLOY, Aperio enables the wireless integration of mechanical locks into existing access control systems, offering a cost effective and simple security upgrade.
Ideal for Facility or Security Managers experiencing costly and time-consuming key control problems, Aperio has been designed to upgrade mechanically locked doors and wirelessly connect them to existing online access control systems, with minimal modification to doors and premises.
This provides end-users in a variety of markets with a simple and intelligent way of upgrading the controllability and security level of their premises. Plus, with its evolving connectivity and developments in RFID technology, Aperio can now connect with almost any online access control system in the marketplace.
Matt Thomas, Managing Director of ASSA ABLOY Access Control, said: “We are so pleased that MAXXESS has enjoyed a successful IFSEC and that they were able to display our award-winning Aperio technology.
“Working closely with our OEM customers and access control specialists is key to us, as it enables both us, and our customers, to provide end users with locking technology that meets both their budgetary and security requirements.
“ASSA ABLOY has always enjoyed a positive working relationship with MAXXESS and its ability to provide innovative and integrated security solutions to a wide customer base is in line with our business philosophy. We look forward to developing Aperio business opportunities with MAXXESS.”
