Anniversary edition of Winsted control room catalogue.

Winsted : 25 July, 2007  (Company News)
Winsted celebrates 44 years in business and releases its latest guide to control room furniture.
Celebrating its 44th year in business, leading control room furniture specialist Winsted has unveiled a brand new set of helpful literature describing the benefits of its comprehensive range, including consoles, multimedia desks and tape/data storage systems.

The information - which includes Winsted's latest 2007/8 catalogue - provides full specification details on all the company's products, plus its renowned pre-installation project design service. This includes useful ergonomic advice, as well as free 'WELS' design software which customers can download from Winsted's website.

"We're a long way from 1963, when Winsted began business," says Harry Whale, the company's General Manager for the EMEA region. "Back then, John Kennedy was the American President and 1in and 2in magnetic tape was popular. Times may have changed, but we continue to create quality products and provide exceptional customer service - backed up by our 10-year warranty on all systems sold."

The nature of Winsted's modular furniture design and construction means it's 'future-proof' - items such as consoles can be altered after installation to take account of changing working conditions. For example, a console could be lengthened to accommodate more space for additional operators in a larger control room.
