Alarm panel access from smart phone or PC

Cooper Security : 07 August, 2009  (New Product)
The Scantronic I-on40 from Cooper Security offers greater flexibility for alarm installations with improved panel access
Alarm panel access from smart phone or PC
i-on40 takes the revolutionary thinking of the i-on16 to a new level, adding wired zones, more radio zones and full EN50131 grade 2, PD6662:2004 and DD243:2004 compliance.

These however are just specifications, what makes the i-on40 a totally unique experience for a product at this price-point, is the control installers and users have over the panel.

End users are able to access the panel on any web enabled smart phone or PC and use it to perform a wide variety of functions. These include setting or un-setting the system, viewing the log, adding or deleting users or triggering outputs to control lighting, doors or other building functions from the simple virtual keypad interface.

Installers are able to easily integrate the panel into advanced building networks or programme the panel using the most basic of personal computing devices. If it has web browser software, you can use it. When an engineer arrives on site he can be certain he is working on the latest version of the panel and does not need to worry about having the most recent issue of the configuration software; all the software and all the configuration information is stored on the panel.

i-on40 will change the way you think about controlling an alarm panel.

The i-on40 also advances alarm communications providing PSTN, GSM, GPRS, and IP from a convenient 'plug-on' footprint. With other 'plug-on' options becoming available over the next few months, the i-on40 will offer the broadest and most flexible range of alarm communications options on the market.

i-on40 offers all the benefits of our unrivalled 868MHz narrowband radio system such as greater signal strengths, extended range for larger sites and the reliability of knowing you have fitted the best. The system also offers the convenience of sharing all its major peripherals with the i-on16 so you only need to carry one keypad type and one set of peripherals.
