Alarm Event Software Integrated With Samsung DVR Products
Samsung’s SRD series of DVRs have been successfully integrated with SureView Systems’ Immix Enterprise and Immix Cloud control room software.

Immix Enterprise is a video centric BS8418 compliant software platform designed to receive and consolidate alarm events from video, video analytics, access control, automation systems and GPS location aware devices. Immix Cloud is a web based edition of the Enterprise software which allows users to create a ‘Private Cloud’ to deliver customized services through any web browser or mobile device.

“With the Immix control room software being deployed in an ever increasing number of alarm receiving centres and remote visual monitoring centres across Europe, Samsung customers can now install one of our SRD models and have the confidence to know that control room operators can remotely take full advantage of the
DVR’s ability to record superb quality images,” said Peter Ainsworth, Senior Product Manager for Samsung Techwin Europe Ltd.

The Samsung SRD series comprises over 20 different models and offers the choice of four, eight or sixteen channel versions, all of which utilise bandwidth-friendly H.264 compression. A Dual codec operation delivers different streams for both high performance recording and optimised transmission, whilst all models share the same intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) menu structure which makes it easy for operators, for example, to set up each channel to record at different frame rates or resolutions.

“In addition to the SRD models, there are also selected models from our other
DVR ranges which are  now supported by the Immix Enterprise software and we are now working closely with Sureview Systems’ development team to integrate our latest generation of NVRs,” said Peter Ainsworth.
