Acquisition of Futurmatica takes Aladdin eSafe product into the hands of southern European customers |

Aladdin Knowledge Systems has announced the establishment of a new office in Portugal as part of Aladdin Europe.
Located near Lisbon in Miraflores, Portugal, the Portuguese office, Aladdin Europe is set to maintain and strengthen its HASP software DRM business in Portugal through the acquisition of long-time partner and distributor, Futurmatica. Due to its 18-year long partnership with Futurmatica, Aladdin has retained all assets of the former distributor and is fully operational.
The acquisition expands Aladdin's presence throughout Europe and enables the company to provide more resources and support to its Portuguese Aladdin HASP customers, and to significantly grow its Aladdin eToken and Aladdin eSafe presence through its existing channel partners.
"Aladdin's commitment to creating a presence in Portugal confirms the importance of the Portuguese market in the larger European community," said Ludger Wilmer, general manager of Aladdin Europe. "Through our new office, we are able to devote added resources, training and personnel from the greater Aladdin Europe entity to better serve our customers in Portugal.
