Advisory board appointed at Biometric supplier

Board to strengthen IrisGuard position in global market for Iris recognition biometric systems.
IrisGuard has taken another quantum leap forward and is strengthening its position furthermore as the world leader in large scale Iris Biometric Systems.

The appointment to its Advisory Board of four exceptional advisors comes as one additional confirmation of the company's uncompromising, continuous drive to maintain itself at the summit of Iris Recognition Technology.

Recognized leaders in their respective fields, Sir Richard Dearlove, Dr John Gage, Mr Alexander Cappello and Mr Les Biller will bring invaluable advice and counsel to IrisGuard, and will allow it to continue to grow in government and commercial markets worldwide.

Sir Dearlove will advise on National Security, a field where IrisGuard already has proven beyond doubt its leadership in the United Arab Emirates world's first and largest iris deployment.

Disruptive technology is where Dr John Gage's advice and experience will prove to be invaluable and essential.

Banking, a sector where IrisGuard has registered another world first with the deployment of its unique Iris recognition technology at Cairo Amman Bank, in Jordan, will benefit from Les Biller's counsel and long experience in this sector.

Finally Alexander Cappello's experience in the world of finance re-affirms IrisGuard sound financial standing and profitable status, a rarity in the biometric sphere.

Sir Richard Dearlove has 38 years of experience in homeland security and intelligence, and was the Head of the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) from 1999 to 2004. Prior to being appointed as the Head of the MI6, he served as MI6's Director of Operations, Head of the Washington station, and Director of Personnel and Administration. Sir Richard is Master of Pembroke College, Cambridge, and the Chairman of Trustees of the Cambridge Union Society.

Dr Gage was a co-founder of Sun Microsystems in 1982, and is currently the Vice President, Chief Researcher and Director of the Science Office. Dr Gage is a member of the Dean's Board of Advisors at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, the Advisory Council for the Oxford Twenty-First Century School, the External Advisory Council at the World Bank, and Scientific Advisory Panel at the National Academy of Sciences. Dr Gage is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley, the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and the Harvard Business School.

Alexander Cappello is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Cappello Capital Corp. The Cappello Group, a global merchant bank whose principals' transactions exceed $110 billion in aggregate value. Mr Cappello has served on the board of numerous public and private companies and organisations, including YPO International (Young Presidents Organization; Chairman 2003 - 2005), RAND Corporation (CMEPP - Centre for Middle East Public Policy and RAND Russia Forum), California Republic Bank, Inter-Tel, Cheesecake Factory, CytRx Pharmaceuticals, Koo Koo Roo, Genius Products, Geothermal Resources International, USC Board of Trustees, USC Marshall School Board of Leaders, and City of Hope Board of Trustees.

Les Biller is a 30-year veteran of the banking industry, and served as Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Wells Fargo until his retirement in 2002. Mr Biller joined Wells Fargo in 1998. Previously, Mr Biller was an executive at Bank of America and Citicorp. Mr Biller serves on the Board of Directors of PG&E Corporation and Ecolab. Mr Biller earned his MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from City College of New York.
