Additional management at UTM specialist

Clavister to benefit from the recruitment of two new senior management as CFO and VP of Marketing and Strategy
IP-based security and unified threat management (UTM) specialist, Clavister has made a further two new appointments to its executive management team. Steve Turner joins the organisation as VP Product Marketing and Strategy, and Casper Seifert has been appointed as CFO.

The two new additions to the management team follow Andre Stewart's recent appointment as VP Sales Worldwide and COO. Each new addition brings a wealth of international experience to the Clavister team and will significantly contribute to the organization's global growth strategy.

Turner brings many years experience to the role having worked for a number of well-known organisations including Digital Equipment, Cisco Systems and France Telecom. Most recently, he headed up the global customer support services organization for Fortinet, where he re-organized and revamped the service portfolio and service delivery.

Seifert brings to his new role a wealth of experience in finance and accounting across a variety of industries and prior to joining Clavister, he was CFO for companies including Trade Doubler and the world leading educational company EF Education Group.

Peter Johansson, Clavister's CEO said: "Steve and Casper are both welcome additions to Clavister. These appointments will help strengthen our team. They constitute a very important part of the foundation for the next phase of our global growth strategy.

He continues: "Our plans for expansion don't stop with the management team. Next step is for us to continue to grow our international sales teams in EMEA, Asia and other emerging markets. These are exciting times for Clavister."

Its customer base includes Terremark, bwin, Hamburg Stock Exchange, France Telecom/Orange, Unibase, Danieli, Rogers Wireless, DGC, Africa Online, and China Power.
