AccessData To Be on eDiscovery Panel at Government Summit

AccessData : 31 May, 2010  (Company News)
COO of AccessData will be travelling to Washington DC in June to take part in a panel for discussing Government readiness for eDiscovery tools
AccessData is participating in the eDiscovery Readiness for Government Summit, taking place on June 8-9 in Washington DC. AccessData COO, Brian Karney will be chairing on June 9th and participating on an expert panel, discussing eDiscovery From A Practical Perspective: The Technology, Processes and Pitfalls. During this session, panelists will discuss the process requirements that must be in place prior to litigation hold, as well as the technological capabilities and implementation issues to consider when looking for solutions to address eDiscovery in house.

In addition, AccessData will be showcasing their eDiscovery software solution, AccessData eDiscovery, which to date is the most comprehensive eDiscovery software solution on the market. Karney, who is the mind behind the development of AccessData eDiscovery, will be available to answer questions about this industry-first product. 'We are very excited about this summit, as it is the first event of its kind in the federal space. Federal agencies are just as much in need of a defensible, effective way to address electronic discovery as corporations are, and this event is an excellent place for federal agencies to gain insight into what they need to know about implementing an eDiscovery solution,' said Karney.

AccessData eDiscovery is a true 'end-to-end' eDiscovery software that addresses matter management, custodian management, litigation hold, identification, forensic collection, preservation, processing, culling, analysis and production of electronically stored information (ESI). AccessData eDiscovery is built on AccessData's Forensic Toolkit technology, the industry-standard computer forensics software used by DOJ agencies and proven to provide greater depth of analysis and precision than other solutions on the market. This automated, in-house eDiscovery solution walks users through each phase of the process in a scalable, forensically sound, defensible manner. Using a single solution, litigation support personnel, technical staff—as well as non-technical personnel, such as attorneys—can work together to execute and manage litigation holds, manage multiple legal matters, assets and custodians, then forensically collect, process, de-duplicate, analyze and produce ESI for final review.

It is the only in-house eDiscovery solution to treat all data equally, allowing users to collect from laptops, desktops, shares, servers, email and many popular structured data repositories, including SharePoint. Of particular interest in the federal space, AccessData eDiscovery enables large-scale auditing of the enterprise to enforce an organization's retention policies, as well as to identify and locate incidents of classified spillage. AccessData's eDiscovery software solution empowers government organizations of all sizes to ensure compliance with regulations, such as the FRCP and FOIA, while greatly reducing costs.
