Access control features for panic bar equipped exits

Salto Systems : 20 May, 2008  (New Product)
SAPS advanced panic bar enables easily installed exit door control from Salto access control systems
Access control features for panic bar equipped exits
The new Salto Advanced Panic Bar Solution (SAPS) has been developed in response to demand from the security market for Access Control solutions on exit doors with panic bars.

It allows users to add the control of exit doors to an access control system without the usual extremely high cost of a fully wired solution and is simple and quick to install and configure with no need for any complex wiring.

Certified to EN1125 standard, SAPS is the most advanced, comprehensive solution on the market. It's modern, contemporary styling and clean lines make it an integral part of the Salto access control platform allowing users to achieve a consistency of style on every door throughout their building.

It can be fully integrated with Salto Virtual Network Technology, allowing users to include SAPS in the management of their access control system without any loss of any functionality, flexibility, control or security. SVN allows the SAPS panic bar to read, receive and write information via normal smart card operation, providing 90% of the benefits of a fully on line access control system at the cost of a stand alone system. Future versions of SAPS will also be capable of integration with fully featured RFID solutions.
