The ABUS Group will be attending Security 2012 in Essen with a whole raft of new products for home and commercial security. The German manufacturer of high-quality products is pursuing a consistent strategy of merging mechanical and electronic components, alarm systems and video surveillance into all-round security solutions. This 360° approach is typified by the new ABUS Ultivest wireless alarm system, which combines active burglary protection with video, access control and integration with building automation (KNX), and will be given its worldwide premiere at the Security 2012.
The ABUS Group is certain to attract plenty of attention from trade visitors at the Security 2012 fair in Essen (September 25–28, 2012). This year for the first time, it will be represented at two different stands, where the focus will be on all-round protection for people and property.
ABUS will be present at its biggest ever stand in Hall 1, Stand 108. On an exhibition space of 528 m2, the four companies in the ABUS Group – ABUS August Bremicker Söhne, ABUS Pfaffenhain, ABUS Security-Center and Seccor – will be presenting their products together for the first time. There will be more than 90 staff at the ABUS stand to make sure that visitors will always have someone to talk to personally.
One of the main attractions is the “ABUS House”, where ABUS products are installed and their functions explained. As well as this, the “ABUS Concept Store” will show ABUS partners how they can attract more customers to their stores. To do this ABUS will demonstrate ideas for shop window decoration and present the modified ABUS shop-in-shop system. The main exhibit at the central stand shows all the products of the ABUS Group and all their functions. The ABUS Café in the center of the stand provides an opportunity to chat in a relaxed atmosphere and get to know each other.
The product highlights at the stand not only include mechanical innovations but also the ABUS Secvest 2WAY and Secvest IP wireless alarm panels with new functions. For example, the Secvest IP alarm panel now has the Secvest IP Remote Key, a lock cylinder with an app-based Keyless function. As well as these new technical features, the vision for a future Secvest alarm panel will be on show.
Other highlights include a completely new range of HD-SDI and IP cameras with 1080 p in real time, the first HDVR video surveillance recorder with Tribrid technology and the Eycasa line of intercoms with video verification. The newly developed Y14 Deltus locking system with the highest technical and copy protection in its class, as well as the innovative CodeLoxx access control systems will also be prominent at the stand. There will also be an opportunity to try out the brand-new ABUS Sportscam, which has already created a furore on YouTube with videos of professional and extreme sports.
The second, smaller ABUS stand in Hall 1, Stand 144, is exclusively devoted to presenting the new ABUS Ultivest wireless alarm system. All the expertise of the ABUS Group went into developing this high-end alarm system. The Ultivest wireless alarm system combines active burglary protection with mechanical and electronic components, video, access control and integration to the building management system via KNX. To fully exploit the enormous range of features of the new alarm panel, ABUS sells the Ultivest system through a selected group of specially trained Ultivest installers. In line with this sales strategy, the Ultivest stand will be open to specialist journalists and accredited visitors.
"The Security 2012 is a milestone in the history of ABUS. For the first time, all four companies in the group will be demonstrating the combined innovative strength of the ABUS Group at a single stand“, say Michael Bräuer, head of marketing and public relations at ABUS.
