"Hutton is an excellent distribution partner for Firetide given their strong presence and outstanding reputation in the service provider market. In addition, Hutton is a market leader in providing voice communication solutions to public safety agencies," said Bo Larsson, CEO of Firetide. "Our high-performance, secure and reliable wireless infrastructure mesh products enable Hutton's service provider and public safety customers to start building out their next generation wide area wireless infrastructure networks for multiple demanding applications, including mobility with fiber-like performance."
"This distribution agreement allows us to add Firetide's mesh products to our service provider and public safety offerings, enabling our customers to have all the redundancy and QoS advantages of mesh topology with the exceptionally high performance of Firetide solutions," said John Walker, CEO of Hutton Communications. "Firetide's industry leading wireless mesh solutions and business expertise are a perfect fit with Hutton's."
Firetide's infrastructure mesh technology, with 300 Mbps outdoor/400 Mbps indoor capacity, provides service providers, municipalities, and public safety agencies with the bandwidth needed to expand the reach of their existing networks, while adding a variety of applications: city-wide video surveillance, traffic management and intelligent transportation systems, Wi-Fi access for mobile city workers and wireless broadband for underserved areas. Firetide infrastructure mesh also makes possible high-bandwidth mobile applications, including voice, data and video, to enhance productivity of government workers and provide new capabilities to transportation networks.
At IWCE, Firetide's products will be demonstrated in Hutton's booth # 4025. In addition, Ksenia Coffman, Firetide's marketing manager, will present on the following panels: "Wireless Surveillance 101," Tuesday, March 9, from 1 pm to 5 pm and "Killer Apps in Wireless" on Friday, March 12 from 10 am until noon.
