Lieberman Software will host a webinar series for information technology and security professionals on securing and managing privileged identities.
Despite the serious security risks and the potential for IT compliance audit failures, many organizations are unaware of their own vulnerabilities when it comes to privileged accounts. Most organizations do not identify or control who has access to critical IT resources in their networks, or audit what changes are made, when and by whom.
Each 30-minute webinar in this series will expose attendees to the basics of privileged identities, risks associated with the mismanagement of these super-user accounts, regulatory compliance requirements for securing and monitoring use of these credentials and technologies currently available to ensure that security and compliance conditions are met.
Attendees will learn how to automate and streamline the process of:
• Changing vendor-supplied privileged password defaults
• Immediately revoking access for terminated users
• Disabling inactive privileged accounts
• Avoiding group, shared, or generic passwords
• Implementing automated audit trails
• Complying with regulatory standards such as SOX, PCI DSS, HIPAA, FISMA
