IQEye Sentinel is IQinVision’s latest megapixel camera featuring tamper resistance, weather resistance and power over Ethernet.

IQinVision has announced the release of the security industry’s first fully integrated, all-weather Power Over Ethernet Megapixel camera system. The IQeye Sentinel Series features an attractive and robust, yet discreet, tamper-resistant enclosure that comes fully integrated with a high resolution camera and lens system. Following in the tradition of IQinVision industry firsts, the IQeye Sentinel is the first megapixel network camera that can be mounted to walls, ceilings or parapets without the need for special mounting hardware. Sentinel was designed to be extremely easy to install, requiring only a single (included) tool for all adjustments.

The IQeye Sentinel can be powered directly or using Power Over Ethernet, and it comes in 1.3 megapixel models all the way up to an impressive 5 megapixels of high-definition resolution. It is available as a standard or true day/night camera with fog-free tamper proof glass. Sentinel delivers all-weather performance with a fully sealed IP 66/NEMA 5 enclosure that will withstand temperatures from a teeth-chattering -58F (-50C) up to a broiling 131F (55C).

“The IQeye Sentinel is cutting edge both aesthetically and in terms of performance,” said Paul Bodell, VP of Sales and Marketing for IQinVision. “But we didn’t stop there, we listened to our partners and made it incredibly easy to install so they spend less time on-site.”
