Innovation award focuses on reliability, innovation and ability to delivery good image quality in poor lighting conditions.

IQinVision has announced that Security Technology & Design has awarded its annual Security Innovation Award to IQinVision and the end user, Loyola University Chicago.

'The Loyola project scored high marks with the judges in the major categories of innovation, collaboration and project scope,' said Steve Lasky, Security Technology & Design's publisher/editor. 'There were many amazing contributions to this year's competition, and I am impressed with how quickly the security industry can implement cutting-edge technologies for an innovative security solution.'

'Loyola was looking for a reliable network camera that could deliver exceptional pictures in challenging light conditions, and after an extensive selection process, they choose IQeye,' said Pete DeAngelis, IQinVision president and CEO. 'Since 1998, we have focused on perfecting the IQeye's image quality and network stability, so we are honored to share this award with an institution like Loyola that values performance, quality and reliability as highly as we do.'

'Our security and video initiative was a total team effort,' said Frank Dale, manager of physical security, Loyola University Chicago. 'This wonderful award is testimony to a lot of hard work and commitment. We're very pleased to receive this award and as we continue with these efforts we know that the end result of our program is a safer and more efficient campus for our Students, Faculty and Staff.'
