International demand for Trusted Client leads to record growth.

Good financial results for BeCrypt derived from international expansion and continued highe levels of demand for the Trusted Client solution.


BeCrypt has announced its pre-audited results for the financial year ended 29 February 2008, showing an increase in revenue of over 50% with an over 100% increase in profit before tax. The company has achieved significant growth in both licence and maintenance revenue. BeCrypt has continued its growth in UK central and local government markets and has seen continuing growth in its international operations. During the last year BeCrypt has released its new BeCrypt Trusted Client solution for the secure use of untrusted computers and has already seen revenue generation as a result.

Leslie Milne, Finance Director at BeCrypt commented, “In the current business climate, data security is now where it should be, firmly at the top of the business agenda, and BeCrypt is well able to provide a wide range of both government grade and more flexible commercial security solutions.”

Mr Milne continued, “The Board is delighted with the company’s performance for the last financial year. We have now shown significant revenue and profit improvement for two years and expect to see this continue in the future. This recent performance is due to the efforts of our dedicated and hard-working staff, combined with our strong partner, stakeholder network and our expansion into international markets.”

During the last six months, BeCrypt has signed major contracts with a significant number of large central Government departments as well as the MOD, and large commercial organisations. Also the company has signed up a number of strategic partners, including key OEM partnerships and significant technology partnerships with companies like Citrix, Juniper Networks, and AEP Networks.
