Membership of Citrix alliance program enables BeCrypt to use secure thin client technology from Citrix as part of its product set.

BeCrypt has joined the Citrix Alliance Program as a Citrix Technology Member. BeCrypt will now distribute the Citrix ICA client within its market-leading BeCrypt Trusted Client secure remote working environment. The Citrix XenApp (the new name for Citrix Presentation Server) client will be offered to BeCrypt customers as part of the core build options for Trusted Client. With the addition of the XenApp client end users of Trusted Client will have safe and secure remote access to all their company’s Windows-based applications delivered by XenApp. The combination of Trusted Client and XenApp enables individuals to start work on a document or spreadsheet while at the office, and then continue their work seamlessly and completely securely from their home PC or any other location.

Trusted Client is a secure configurable operating environment that is embedded on a USB flash drive. The solution enables a trusted environment on an untrusted or unmanaged temporary host and is used for thin-client applications, secure remote web or e-mail access, or for stand-alone applications. All information on the USB stick is encrypted to ensure confidentiality and integrity of data. Trusted Client is easily configured by systems integrators, consultancies and specialist suppliers to meet customer needs, and includes support for wired and wireless networks, email and office productivity software.

David Holman CEO at BeCrypt commented, “We are delighted to be able to offer our customers access to their Citrix environments as standard within Trusted Client. This further extends usability of Trusted Client as now end users can work securely from any location, using any untrusted PC, and access an environment they are already familiar with using the same applications they use in their office. This will greatly enhance the productivity of users outside of their normal workplace.”
