eSoft to support growth in unified threat management market in EMEA with new headquarters in Bracknell.
eSoft solidified its European expansion plans by announcing the opening of its EMEA headquarters in Bracknell, Berkshire. The leading vendor of integrated Internet security and content management solutions for small to medium-sized businesses aims to replicate its success in the American SCM and UTM markets, where it is growing at 30 - 50 per cent a quarter.
eSoft has more than 18,000 products installed in over 40 countries worldwide. In Europe it has an established two-tier distribution model, working with channel partners including Bell Micro to deliver its award-winning security products to key markets. The company’s strategy for Europe is to build quality reseller partnerships, work closely with distributors on VAR training and set up technical support and certification capabilities within the EMEA region.
Paul Darby, EMEA Regional Channel Manager at eSoft, Inc. said: “By establishing a regional headquarters in the UK, eSoft is strengthening its position in EMEA as a major provider of high quality, cost-effective solutions for email security, gateway malware protection and web usage management.”
He continued: “To support sales growth, eSoft is also expanding its channel and its workforce in Europe. The eSoft partners are of the highest quality and require dedicated backup and support to allow them to continue to expand and service the growing base of eSoft clients within EMEA.”
eSoft provides products for three of the largest and fastest growing market categories: Unified Threat Management (UTM), Web Security and Email Security/Spam Management. The company, which has primarily focused on small to medium businesses, is rapidly taking market share from established Silicon Valley giants. eSoft recently established its own Threat Labs and Threat Prevention Teams, which develop core intellectual property in Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti-Spyware and Intrusion Prevention.
