Western European office opened by DeviceLock to serve the growing market for its products in German speaking countries
DeviceLock has announced the opening of its new European subsidiary, DeviceLock Europe, which will be based in Ratingen, Germany. Over the last two years, DeviceLock sales in Western Europe, especially in Germany, have grown sharply. DeviceLock therefore needed to reorganise its sales channel and customer support infrastructure in the region in a way that would satisfy the growing demand for the product. The decision was made to establish a new DeviceLock branch in the center of the region dedicated to improving sales and support services initially for the German-speaking countries and later on extended to support the rest of Western Europe. “The decision to open a new office in the center of the region is our response to the rapid growth of the Data Leak Prevention software market in Europe,” said Ashot Oganesyan, DeviceLock CTO and Founder. “DeviceLock Europe will be able to ensure our existing and future European partners and customers are served in the most effective and reliable way.” DeviceLock Europe will focus on implementing a new efficient sales partner program that will offer a comprehensive set of partner support options, real-time productivity tools, as well as sales and technical trainings and partner seminars. It will also be actively involved in facilitating and managing DeviceLock marketing activities in Germany, as well as in other German-speaking countries. Guido Kinzel, Managing Director of DeviceLock Europe stated: “The strategic decision to open a German office reflects the importance DeviceLock places on the Europe market. The German IT market is one of the most important in the EU and has very close relationships with a number of Russian IT companies. With our new structured channel program in place we expect to increase the number of sales significantly. We’re also preparing training, pre-sale and post-sale support for all DeviceLock partners.” DeviceLock-based software solutions proactively protect organizations of any industry and size against data leakage and corporate network infiltration by malware via the local ports of employees’ computers, thus significantly reducing business risks resulting from insider negligence, errors or malicious actions.
