Encryption technology distribution agreement for Northern Europe

InfoGuard encryption products to be distributed in Northern Europe by Avnet Technology Solutions
Avnet Technology Solutions and InfoGuard have announced a distribution agreement for the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. The agreement enables Avnet to add the complete line of InfoGuard high performance encryption technologies to its range of security solutions. InfoGuard is the first high speed encryption product in the Avnet portfolio, and addresses increased demand for optical encryption from enterprises, managed service providers and telecom carriers.
The agreement covers all InfoGuard products with particular focus on the InfoGuard Multilink Encryption solution, the world’s first multi-link and multi-protocol encryption device able to encrypt up to 10 interface ports simultaneously across any combination of Fibre Channel, FICON and Ethernet protocols while maintaining low latency.

InfoGuard provides a wide range of high performance encryption appliances all designed in accordance with the EAL3 Common Criteria Security Standard and FIPS 140-2 Level 3 requirements. The Multilink Encryption product - InfoGuard MG10 - uses AES 256 to simultaneously cipher data across ten different signals via CWDM, DWDM, Dark Fibre or SDH networks. Further products are InfoGuard EG1/10 – a high performance data encryption solution for Ethernet networks and InfoGuard SG64 for SONET/SDH networks for up to 10Gbps transfer rate.
