Archiving Software product award nomination for C2C in the Storage Industry Awards.
C2C has announced that for the second year running, it has been nominated as a finalist in Archiving Software Product of the Year category in the 2008 Storage Industry Awards, as voted by the readers of Storage Magazine, the UK’s leading authority in IT storage. Final winners will be chosen via an online voting system. Voting closes on 26 May. The Storage Awards, now in its fifth year, has become the established storage awards scheme and is commonly referred to as “The Storries”. Last year, 5000 votes were cast from the readership of the Storage Magazine and from those within the storage industry. Final winners will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner June 5th 2007. “It’s a great achievement to reach finalist status in the Archiving Software Product of the year category with our Archive One solution,” says Dave Hunt, CEO at C2C. “There are some notable nominees within the category, but we’re confident that the customer experience of using Archive One to solve email archiving and email management headaches will stand us in good stead.” C2C’s Storries-nominated Archive One solution helps organisations solve the headaches of email capacity management, enforce email retention policies and comply with various regulatory requirements regarding the use and retention of email, such as Sarbanes-Oxley, Freedom of Information Act, HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, SEC and NASD Directives. Archive One technology is built on a proprietary advanced analytical search and policy enforcement engine, made up of nearly 50 analysis criteria used throughout the product line to centralise, automate and accelerate tasks which reduce risk associated with email and improve system usage.
