Physical Security company diversifies into armoured product range with the introduction of armoured vehicles as well as ballistic armour and glass
Safeguard Security Holdings’ subsidiary, SYSTEMSgroup Technologies, has expanded its services to include a full line of armoured solutions to its product mix, including production fabrication of glass, steel, composite and ceramics. SYSTEMSgroup Technologies has entered into an agreement with its teaming partner to offer a full line of armouring solutions to include armoured vehicles, transparent armouring and opaque armouring products. The product mix also includes ballistic glass for commercial and residential structures, ballistic auto glass, and customized laminated glass with various ballistic ratings. Michael Lagow, CEO for Safeguard, stated, “We are extremely excited to have such an alliance with a significant manufacturer in the Armoured Products Market. This partnership allows our firm to carry a full line-up of customized armouring solutions that are unmatched in the industry. Our clients in Mexico and Columbia have requested these products for additional protection.” Lagow added, “With this product mix, we now have a full line that meets the government’s standards for manufacturers of vehicles and products for the Global War on Terror (GWOT), and we estimate this will add an additional $1.5 million US to our revenue base this fiscal year.”
