About Science for Humanity
Science for Humanity (Charity Registration No. 1122623) is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to alleviate poverty, advance community development and deliver economic benefit to poorer people. The organisation is based on the conviction that while our society is making incredible progress in science and technology, much more of this knowledge could be translated into genuine innovation that could make a difference to the lives of people in the world. By facilitating collaboration among scientists with local communities, NGOs, development agencies, companies and other organisations, the charity develops innovative solutions for the poorest communities.

In response to the challenges that organisations face in managing risks, a not-for-profit organisation, The Global Risk Register (GRR), was launched on 10 September at an event hosted by Lord Merlin, the Earl of Erroll, at the Cabinet War Rooms in London. The GRR is a joint initiative between Science for Humanity, a charity matching scientific capability to human needs and Flexeye, a provider of risk intelligence solutions.
