Made up of 37 members, including testers, suppliers, educational bodies and publishers, the Anti-Malware Testing Standards Organisation was established in 2008 and is involved in anti-malware research.

The organisation's members cooperatively develop and adopt standards, guidelines, educational materials, and a review analysis process aimed at improving the efficiency, effectiveness and reliability of anti-malware testing.
