The intense scientific activities of 3DX-Ray grew from research work at Nottingham Trent University during the late 90’s and grew to become a respective supplier of scanning and screening equipment for the security industry. The product range is based on modular x-ray technology. The company has developed a technique of 3D visualisation using their X-Ray vision engine and is widely used for scanning baggage at airports and borders.
